Alpenfire Cider, a home-grown venue that carefully and passionately crafts unique organic ciders and vinegars, is adding an old-style process to their new line of products: keeved cider. Keeving is a long process for making naturally sweetened cider using nothing but cider apples; no sugar or water. It’s been practiced in Europe, particularly France, for centuries, and will join other new single varietals, wild ferments and heritage apple blends on Alpenfires’ tasting room shelves.

Of course, regular customers and cider club members can still enjoy their favorite estate pommes, sparkling, still and fortified ciders, ranging from Pirate’s Plank and Tempest to Royal Pomme and more.

Another unique product is their Cider-in-a-bag project that benefits the Olympic Discovery Trail project.

The first of its kind in the US, the cider is perfectly packaged for outdoor activities, and makes for a great picnic partner.

In fact, you can pick up a bag in the tasting room and enjoy your picnic in their orchard. The perfect treaton a warm summer day.
